La Espiga is a 288-hectare mixed-use development north of the city of Querétaro, built by Grupo DMI, the developer with more than 30 years behind El Campanario. The main entrance is on the Fray Junípero Serra ring road, with a second one on Prolongación Corregidora, five minutes from major avenues, well-known schools and shopping centers.
Lots range from 232 m² to 800 m², spread across condominiums with their own character and amenities —Roqueño, Alcalá, Betres, Marius, Antón and Alcotán, among others— all with 24-hour controlled access. The project is planned at city scale: a 2.5-kilometer linear park stitching the whole development together, bike lanes and walkways, lakes and hectares of green areas, pet zones, low-speed hydraulic concrete streets, wide medians, LED street lighting, underground utilities and an overpass funded entirely by the development itself. It also sets aside 69 hectares for commercial and service use, with macro-lots and shopping areas inside the development.
Seven condominiums are on sale today and six of them are ready to deed, with immediate handover of the lot. Prices run from $7,350 to $11,375 per square metre depending on the condominium, the type of lot and the payment terms, so a whole lot falls between $2,318,000 and $9,126,000. The developer offers direct financing from 1 to 60 months interest-free, with down payments from 20 %, and applies discounts according to the payment plan you choose.
